Jahan Begum Tomb
Malik Jahan Begum's Mosque: About 90 meters to the west of the citadel stands this mosque built in 1586 by Ibrahim Adil Shah II in honour of his wife, Malika Jahan Begum. This building is a fine specimen of the more delicate phase in Bijapur architecture. Stucco ornament also enters into the general scheme of decoration. The mosque is also called Janjiri Masjid on account of the small stone chains that once adorned is cornice. There is a tank in front of mosque and the mosque reflects in the tank, when the waters are not disturbed.
